Here’s a basic cost breakdown of my Ethiopia trip with Abyssinian Nomads:

1. Omo valley: $200-250 per day with a local tour operator.
Includes guide, 4X4 land cruiser, camping equipment. Half board meals, lodges/hotels and entrance fees to all point of interests.

2. Simien mountains: $150 – 250 per day
Price includes local guides, 4×4 land cruiser, camping equipment. All parks and point of interest entrance fees. Comes with chef and park scout as well. There is a luxury lodge option for increased price.

3. Addis Ababa: $50 to $300 per day depending on style of travel
Higher prices would include hotel accommodation, famous city tour and coffee ceremony. With local guide and food tour.

4. Danakil Depression: $150-200 per day
It is advised to only travel in this region with local tour operators due to security concerns. Price includes 4×4 land cruiser, local guides, camping equipment, all park and point of interest fees, half board meals and a park scout from the Afar region to escort entire trip.

Lalibela: $100-250
Upper price includes local tour guide, 4×4 land cruiser, hotel/lodge accommodation. Half board meal and entrance to all Rock Churches of Lalibela.

Top 12 AMAZING Places to Travel in Europe 2021

Some of the countries on this list might surprise you but these are a few of my favorite places in Europe! You can travel to every country in this video on a budget but some are more expensive than others.

No matter what continent, there are always places you can visit on a budget- the best thing you can do when learning how to travel is realizing that No destination is really ever “too expensive”. You just have to get creative with it. The things you look for when you’re just getting started seeing the world is
1. Budget Friendly prices
2. Safe and easy to navigate
3. Filled once in a lifetime experiences

I’ve lived on anywhere between $15-$60 USD per day while traveling and depending on where in the world I was, I was able to fully experience each destination. However, there are some places like France and Italy where I recommend splurging on all the amazing food!

Speaking from my experiences, I would say that roughly 75% of places around the world can be done on a budget but it takes time to develop money saving hacks and habits so if you are just starting out it’s good to get a few, budget friendly and easy countries under your belt.
