The Bagrati Cathedral in Kutaisi and Gelati Monastery, historical monuments of Mtskheta, and Upper Svaneti are recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Georgia is also an international transport corridor through Batumi and Poti ports. Tblisi airport provides air connections to many European and non-European cities.
