In order to determine which US city or town is the best (or worst), we first separated them into different groups based on their size:
Small Towns (Population between 10,000 to 50,000 residents)
Big Cities (Metropolitan population OVER 3 million residents)
Medium Cities (Metro population between 1.5 to 3 million)
Small Cities (Metro population between 500K to 1.5 million)
VERY Small City / Big Towns (Metro Population UNDER 500,000)
I’d then analyze their cost of living, crime and safety, schools, economy, health, traffic, things to do, quality of life, and a few other categories, including a town’s overall charm and vibe. I also implemented my personal experiences and the pros and cons of each location to find the best places to live. My biggest suggestion is to visit these towns and states first to decide where you want to move to and live.
