1.Elephant Falls

3.Nohkalikai Falls
Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet, making it as the highest waterfall in India. The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.

4.Spread Eagle Falls
Spread Eagle Falls, locally known as Umkaliar or Sati Falls, is a gurgling cataract, situated in the Shillong Cantonment of East Khasi Hills. The waterfall attributes its name to its peculiar shape, which resembles an eagle with its wings spread wide. Descending an irregular rocky path, the cascade forms a small pool at its base.

7.Mary Help of Christians Cathedral, Shillong
The Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians is a Cathedral in Shillong, Meghalaya. It is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Shillong which covers the [East[Khasi Hills and RI Bhoi district of Meghalaya.

A rhino statue sits out in front of this modest museum with displays on military history.

9.Ever Living Museum
The Ever Living Museum at Mawshbuit, around 9km from Shillong, is a living testimony of one’s love for nature, culture, tradition, history and posterity. The Museum owned and operated by retired Meghalaya government engineer Kyntiewbor War.

10.Shillong View Point
Shillong is the capital and hill station of Meghalaya, also known as “The Abode of Clouds”, one of the smallest states in India. It is the headquarters of the East Khasi Hills district and is situated at an average altitude of 4,908 feet (1,496 m) above sea level, with the highest point being Shillong Peak at 6,449 feet (1,966 m). Shillong is the 330th most populous city in India with a population of 143,007 according to the 2011 census.It is said that the rolling hills around the town reminded the European settlers of Scotland. Hence, they would also refer to it as the “Scotland of the East”.
