For Nature lovers beautiful scenic places like Pahalgam, Sonmarg, Katra and Udhampur are present. Jammu And Kashmir also has some amazing and divine religious place like Vaishno Devi that are worth a visit. Also for biking and adventure loving people trip to the Leh Ladakh region is highly recommended. You would feel pride in reaching Khardung La Pass which is the highest motorable road. Also you can recollect the scenes of 3 idiots in Pangong Lake. The Magnetic Hill would also surely leave you amazed. If you would like to play in snow then you can get a chance to do the same in Gulmarg or Patnitop. For shopping and eating you can travel straight to Srinagar and Jammu City. Jammu is also known as the city of temples and has some nice religious places like Raghunath Temple, Peer baba, Ranbireshwar Temple, Maha maya Temple. If you have time then you may also goto places such as Dachigam National Park, Pulwama, Rajauri, Nubra Ghati, Hemis, Anantnag, Sanasar, Amarnath aur Kargil. Many important monastries also exist in this region. Jammu And Kashmir also has many budget hotels, restaurants and resorts to make your stay comfortable.

Dharamshala is a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts.
1. Tsuglagkhang Complex :
The Tsuglagkhang Complex in Dharamsala is a sacred building complex enclosing the residence of Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Government in exile. The complex is constructed in a location near Mcleod Ganj and is overlooked by the mountain ranges of Dhauladhar.
2. Dal Lake :
Dal Lake is a small mid-altitude lake near the village of Tota Rani in Kangra district (Himachal Pradesh) in northern India. The name ‘Dal Lake’ is taken from Kashmir’s Dal Lake. The lake is surrounded by deodar trees and is considered to be a sacred spot as there is small Shiva mandir (shrine) on its bank. There are different kinds of fish that live in this lake. The lake has greenish water.
3. Namgyal Monastery :
Namgyal Monastery is currently located in Mcleod Ganj, Dharamsala, India. It is the personal monastery of the 14th Dalai Lama. Another name for this temple-complex is Namgyal Tantric College. This monastery’s key role is to assist with rituals involving the Dalai Lama of Tibet.
4. Bhagsunath Waterfall :
The cascading waterfalls, about 20 metres in height, are an absolute marvel to look at, especially during the monsoons. There is a nice cafeteria next to the falls and the area serve as an excellent picnic spot for tourists.
5. Kangra Fort :
The historic Kangra Fort is located in the Kangra valley near Dharamshala in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Constructed long ago by the royalty of the Katoch Empire, this majestic fort is one of the oldest forts in the country.
6. Gyuto Monastery :
The Gyuto Monastery is one of the most famous monasteries in Tibet and specializes in the study of Tantric meditation, Tantric ritual arts and Buddhist philosophy. The main disciple of the first Dalai Lama, Jetsun Kunga Dhondup, founded Gyuto Monastery in 1474 in eastern Tibet.
7. Masroor Rock Cut Temple :
The Masrur Temples, also referred to as Masroor Temples or Rock-cut Temples at Masrur, is an early 8th-century complex of rock-cut Hindu temples in the Kangra Valley of Beas River in Himachal Pradesh, India. The temples face northeast, towards the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas.
8. Kangra Valley :
Kangra Valley is situated in the Western Himalayas. Administratively, it predominantly lies in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. It is a popular tourist destination, with the peak season around March and April.
9. Kangra Art Museum :
The Kangra Museum is dedicated to the brilliant marvels of Tibetan and Buddhist artwork and their rich history. Among the large variety of its precious collectibles are jewelry, rare coin memorabilia, paintings, sculptures and pottery.
10. St. John in the Wilderness Church :
St. John in the Wilderness is a Church of North India church dedicated to John the Baptist built in 1852, located near Dharamshala, India, on the way to McLeodGanj, at Forsyth Gunj. Set amidst deodar forest, and built in neo-Gothic architecture, the church is known for its Belgian stained-glass windows donated by Lady Elgin (Mary Louisa Lambton), wife of Lord Elgin.
