We continued our journey to Jasper National Park, the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, spanning 11,000 square km. Jasper National Park is a part of the UNESCO’s Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site and offers access to the world-famous Columbia Icefields, marvelous canyons, relaxing hot springs, turquoise lakes, gorgeous waterfalls, and splendorous mountains.
We will take you on a journey to visit the top places in Jasper National Park, including the scenic drive across the park; Maligne Canyon, the deepest canyon in Jasper National Park; Jasper SkyTram, the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada; Medicine Lake, the intriguing lake of mystery; and Maligne Lake, famed for its azure water, surrounding peaks, and Spirit Island.
Next, we will visit Miette Hot Springs, the hottest hot springs in the Canadian Rockies. We will drive on the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most famous scenic drives, leading us to the Athabasca Falls, and the Columbia Icefield, the largest ice field in North America’s Rocky Mountains. The Athabasca Falls, known for its force is a powerful waterfall that flows into the Athabasca River. The Columbia Icefield is the largest ice field in North America’s Rocky Mountains. By riding on an all-terrain Ice Explorer, we are able to go up to the Athabasca Glacier of the Icefield.
